Rob Russell
Over the span of the last 25-years, Rob has become an accomplished leader in the fields of security operations and business development, leveraging a rich and diverse background. His expertise spans across corporate security, risk management, protective services, integrated technology, threat assessment, program design and management, as well as consulting and teaching (Higher Education). Rob currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice @ Huston Tillotson University and also works in a sales leadership role for a national provider of corporate risk management services.

Melissa McCoy brings leadership experience in security sales and relationship management to the ASIS Chapter Secretary role. She is dedicated to supporting the board through clear communication, organization, and member engagement while contributing to the chapter’s continued growth and success.

30+ years of experience in the physical security fields and presently a Threat Management Specialist with Progressive Insurance, overseeing a Western Region zone. An active Board member with Austin 179 for 8+ years, as well as CPP Certified. He's benefited from working with other various 500 Corporations as Bank of America, 3M, AT&T, and State Farm Insurance. From these experiences, recognizing an understanding that security services must meet the needs of a culture of an organization to be truly successfully.
